So my son woke up this morning telling me that he feels sick and his back hurts. So, being the loving mother I am, he got toast for breakfast, rice for lunch, and has to lay around all day long. Within 20 minutes of having to lay down, he promptly tells me that he feels much better and wants to go play in his room.

Stupid van....

Ever have one of those days where you should have never gotten out of bed? Well, I have and today was one of those days. My son had an appointment out of town and we were all ready to go, until my van refused to go over 25 mph. Well, so much for the appointment and for going anywhere else for that matter. Driving it was pure torture, it jerked constantly with no end in sight. I thought I was going to wind up with whiplash by the time I circled around the neighborhood to get back home. Just another day in the life of a homemaker I guess...
